Af. אַרְגֵּיל to lead; to accustom. Yeb.85b היא מַרְגְּלָא ליה she leads (persuades) him, v. Preced.Part. pass. מַרְגַּל; f. מַרְגְּלָא, v. מַרְגְּלָא I. Ithpa. אִתְרַגֵּל, אִירַגֵּל to accustome ones self, make it a habit. Ned.66b כי היכי דלא לִתְרַגְּלֵי למנדר (Rashi לִירַגְּלֵי) that they may not make it a habit to vow.
